Emma was 87 when she died in a hospital after a long illness. Funeral Services were in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Woodbine, burial at Pleasant Hill in Dunlap.

Mrs. Anderson was born Feb 25 1875 in Iowa City. She lived at Rock Rapids, Iowa and Dunlap before moving here (Le Mars) 22 yrs ago.

Her husband, Fred, died March 1958. Survivors include a daughter; 5 sons; 5 sisters, 2 brothers, 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
