Elsie E. Fulkman Beckett, 78, of South
Buffalo Township, Armstrong Co., (Pennsylvania) died at 4 A. M. Monday, April 2,
2001, at Armstrong Co., Health Center, Kittanning.
Born May 25, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was
the daughter of Ralph C. and Vera N. Cowan Fulkman and
the stepdaughter of Lillian Graybigle Fulkman.
She retired in 1976 as a nurses' aide at
Fair Winds Manor in Winfield Township after 10 years.
Mrs. Beckett was a member of the Slate Lick
United Presbyterian Church and the South Buffalo Senior Citizens organization.
She enjoyed playing cards, reading, bingo and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by an infant son
and two brothers.
Friends were received Tuesday and Wednesday
at Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport, (Pa.) Services were
held at 11 A. M., Thursday at Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church. The church
pastor, and the pastor of Christ the Rock Church of Worthington (Pa.),
officiated. Burial was at Slate Lick Cemetery, South Buffalo township.
