Thomas Bickett

Died-Saturday night about 12 o'clock At his home
four miles north-west of this city, Mr. Thomas Bickett, of heart failure, The
funeral services were held from the residence Monday afternoon, conducted
by Rev. A. P. Beal, former pastor of the family, assisted by Rev.
Schwarts and Rev. Gibbons.

Thomas Bickett expired at his home five and
one-half miles north-west of this place, at 1 o'clock yesterday morning. He was
about 60 years of age and well known throughout this section of the state.
Deceased attended the Salvation Army meeting at Union Hall Saturday night and
was apparently in good health. Shortly after returning he was taken suddenly ill
and expired at the above hour. The funeral was held here today. This gentleman
was one of the best know residents of this community and his many friends were
shocked to learn of his death. It is thought apoplexy caused his death.
