CLARENCE EDWARD RENZ, 49, died at 1:55 am
Sunday at his home, 429 Frederick street, after an illness since May 28,
1946. He had been bedfast since that time.
Mr RENZ was born October 4, 1897 in Warren
township to FRANK and CAROLYN VOLLMER RENZ. His marriage was to TEMPERANCE
MURPHY, June 8, 1920.
Surviving are the widow, three sons, GLENWOOD
WILTON RENZ and ROBERT EDWARD RENZ, this city, and OLIN RENZ,
at home; one daughter, PHYLLIS ELLEN RENZ, at home; two grandchildren, RITA
ANN and STEPHEN EDWARD RENZ: four brothers, ADAM RENZ, Bippus; JOHN
RENZ, Merriam, Kan; HENRY RENZ, Lapaz, and AUGUST RENZ,
Plymouth, and a sister, Mrs. CLARA SHULTZ, Walbash. Two brothers, JOSEPH
RENZ and PETER RENZ and three sisters, Mrs. SARAH SPATH, Mrs.
EMMA KNECHT, and Mrs. CATHERINE BAER, are dead.
Mr. RENZ had been employed at the Orion
Crane and Shovel company prior to his illness.
The body was returned from the Bailey Funeral
Home to the family residence where friends may call.
Mr. RENZ was a member of the Nazarene
church where funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday with the REV FRED
HAWK officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery.
