Frank Renz Obituary

Frank Renz, seventy-two years old, for forty-two years resident of Warren Township, Huntington County Indiana. died Saturday night at 8:30 o'clock at the home of a daughter Mrs. Catherine Baer of LaPaz, Indiana.  He had been ill for several months, death was caused by complications.  Mr. Renz was born October 28, 1853 in Baden Germany.  He came to the United States when nineteen years old and settled in New York.  He later came to Stark County Ohio, where he married Caroline Vollmer.  Thirteen children were born to the union. The family came to Warren Township Huntington County Indiana in 1880 and lived there until three years ago when Mr. and Mrs. Renz moved to LaPaz Marshall County Indiana. Four children are dead.

Surviving are the widow and the children.  One brother and one sister live in Germany.  Mr Renz was a member of the St John's Evangelical church at Bippus where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev Theo Eisen in charge. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
