Mrs Mary Emma Renz, 67, died Monday
morning at 2:30 o'clock at the Wabash County Hospital where she was taken
February 8, from her home in Bippus. She was seriously ill one week.
Mrs Renz suffered a fall February 7 when her right leg was
fractured. Mrs Renz born in Warren township July 15, 1873, to Peter
and Dora Knecht. She married Adam Franklin Renz March 23,
1901. Surviving are the husband and two daughters Mrs Frieda Kester,
North Manchester; and Mrs Ethel Landrum, Warren township. Three
grandchildren are Deloris Kester, North Manchester, Keith Landrum
and Paul Landrum. Two brothers are George Knecht,
Bippus and William Knecht, Clear Creek township. Sisters are Mrs
Carole Overholt, Bippus and Mrs Tena McCollum, Huntington. One
grandchild, Eugene Landrum, died July 4, 1931, and two deceased brothers
are Phillip and John Knecht. One sister Pauline Baker, is dead.
The body was taken to the home in Bippus where
friends may call. Mrs Renz was a member of the Calvery Evangelical
church st Bippus where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2
o'clock. The Rev Lloyd Maurer will be in charge and burial will be at St
John's cemetery, one-half mile west of Bippus.

Funeral services for Mrs Mary Emma Renz
were held Wednesday afternoon at the Calvery Evanhgelical church in Bippus with
the Rev Lloyd Maurer in charge.
Music was by Paul Kunze with Miss Grace
Smetzer accompanying. Flowerbearers were Paul Landrum, Keith
Landrum, Deloris Kessler, Thelma Gertner, Helen Knecht,
Dorothy Garrison, Velma Mawman, Mrs Leo Knecht, Mrs Will Wetter, Mrs Lloyd
Warner, Mrs Eve Brechner, Mrs Lloyd Maurer and Mrs Clyde Jones, Ruth Ulhricht
and Lucille Hanemeyer. Pallbearers were Jake Stetzel, Lloyd Warner,
William Garrison, William Wetter, Grant Jester, and Harvey Altman.
Burial was at St John's cemetery west of Bippus.
