Mrs Nellie Renz Obit and Funeral Notice February 9, 1971
Huntington Herald-Press Indiana 

Mrs. Nellie I. Renz 86, died at 10:40 pm Monday at the Huntington County Hospital, following a illness since last summer and seriously ill the last 10 days. She was admitted to the hospital on Jan 29.  She lived most of r life in Huntington County.  Mrs. Renz was born Dec 24, 1884, near Kentland, to Daniel and Ida Coulter Howenstine. Her marriage to Peter Renz, Nov 26, 1904 and he died Oct 29, 1944.

Mrs. Renz was a member of the St Peter's United Church of Christ.  Surviving are two daughters, two sons, 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and a sister  Deceased are two sons, Adam Franklin and Gerald Leland Renz, a sister Mrs. Hazel Stands and two brothers Roland and Richard Howenstine. 

Friends may call at the Bailey Mortuary after 7 pm Tuesday where the funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Thursday in the Chapel with Rev Ernest C Klein officiating. Burial will be in the St Johns United Church of Christ cemetery at Bippus.
