Elizabeth Vollmar Obiturary

Huntington Press 12 June 1919 

MRS VOLLMAR, 82, DIES OF 2 WEEKS ILLNESS 

Mrs Elizabeth Vollmar 82 years old died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at her home, one mile south and one-fourth mile east of Bippus, after a serious illness of two weeks. She had been ailing for three years.

She was born April 21, 1837, at Rhein- Pfalz Germany, coming to the United States in 1856, when she lived for a time in Tuscarwar county Ohio.

Her marriage was to JACOB URSHEL, to which union eight children were born. The husband and seven children are deceased, one son CHARLES URSHEL of Huntington Township, surviving.

Her second marriage was to ADAM VOLLMAR, August 17,1897. Her husband and two step-daughters survive, Mrs FRANK RENZ of Warren township and Mrs N. ROTHERMEL of Kansas City Mo. Two grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Mrs VOLLMAR was a member of the German Evangelical Church at Bippus, from which the funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the REV GEORGE BOHN and REV C L HANEY officiating. Burial will be at the German Evangelical Cemetery near Bippus.
