Thomas Henry Whittaker Tom (Thomas Henry) Whittaker, aged 75, of Rt. 3, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas died last night December 09, 1964, at 6:15. He was a lifetime resident of Lawrence County, Arkansas born March 29, 1889. Mr. Whittaker, who was a retired farmer, was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church. He was married to Maude Manning on April 26, 1908. He is survived by his wife; two sons, five daughters, a sister, 35 Grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Funeral will be Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Gethsemane Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park under direction of Bryan Funeral home.
