was found on Dec. 12, 2002. He left behind a son, Billy Wayne. Two
daughters, Linda Janice and Sheila Ray. He has 9 grandchildren. "He

Willis Township near Truman & Bay Pine Hill Cemetary, (cash area) near
Jonesboro AR He was born in AL and lived in Morgan and Marshall Co.
Alabama. I've been told he married a girl from The Netherlands & they
lived in Marshall Co. AL where they had 3 sons. His wife died in her late
20's or early 30's of some epidemic. He took the 3 sons and dropped them
off in McCrory AR, Woodruff County and did not see them again until they
were grown. One of the sons (Jimmy) died in McCrory around 1910. The other
2 sons moved back to Marshall Co. AL, Union Grove in the 1910-1920's and
met their father there again after they were grown men. Zelmer born about
1889 and Romer born 1892. Romer was my grandfather. He married Alpha Scott
there and his bro. Zelmer married Julia Scott, her sister. These
Scott girls parents were Agripe Scott and Fetney Leach Scott. One of the
Scott boys married a Izora Bond. Fetney had a sister, Mary who married a
Brown. <br>MACE RUTHERFORD WAS BORN IN 1858, AL AND I believe his
parents were William Rutherford & Mary, Blount Co. Al. Mary and son's
& are on the MORGAN CO. AL CENSUS IN 1880. Son William 30, Mace 22.

Paradine McIntire Woods April 11, 1918 Mt. Carmel,
Il. Sand Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Il. Mrs. Wesley Wood, wife of one of
the prominet farmers of the lower end of the county, died at the family
residence south of Keensburg Thursday evening about 9:00 o'clock. The
cause of her demise was paralysis, of which she suffered a stroke a year
ago. almost to the hour, previous to her death.<br><br>Mrs.
woods was 57 years, 7 months, and 4 days old at the time of her death. She
is survivied by her husband and ten children. Sheleaves six daughters, of
whom, Mesdames Turner, Kays and McGuire, are residents of Mt. Carmel. Mrs.
Humes lives in Pike county, In., and Mrs. Yarber, in Keensburg. Gertrude,
unmarried, lives at home. Of the four sons, Edgar, Arthur, John and Kell,
the former lives in Mt. Carmeland the latter at home, the others in
Keensburg vicinity.<br><br>Mrs. Wood was a member of the M. E.
church for many years past, and was a womean of excellent character.<br><br>The
funeral will be held from the residence Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and the
body will be brought to Mt. Carmel for interment in Sand Hill Cemetery
