According to her obit she had one brother(Horace Jones born 1892 Joliet Illinois). I have never been able to get any firm evidence as to who her parents were. In a baby book it is written that they were Arthur Jones and Rose Ellen Smith/jones, However I have never been able to confirm this or find anything of them or about them. She had always said that her parents died young and that she was raised by her brother. I don't know how this could be when her brother was a year younger than her. He was a one armed man due to an accident that took place at the Blue Grass Cooperage Company in Station Valley, Ky. when he was a young man.
