Worked for General Electric for 42 1/2 yrs. in Lynn, Mass. and Evendale, Ohio, in design and development of aircraft turbo super chargers and engines for jet aircraft. Was a member of the Armstrong Chapel Methodist Church in Cincinnati and served as treasurer for many years, was a director of the Engineering Society of Cincinnati. In retirement he volunteered repairing talking books for the blind and was president of the resident council at the Seasons Retirement Home. I'm trying to find information about cherokee ancestry, there are several Browns listed on the Dawes Roll, but I don't know if there are any connections to them and my granparents or how to find out.
