In 1976 she served as president of the National Association of Pro America. She served as a panelist on Cincinnati, Ohio's television show "Issues & Answers". She graduated from Holmes High School. A Trans World Airlines employee. in the 50's she reactivated the Camp Fire Girls Program at Cardinal Paceli School in Mount Lookout and served as its regional director. She served as as president of the Parent Teacher Association at Summit Country Day School in the 60's. An avid tennis player and member of the Cincinnati Tennis Club. She played the piano, sang in choir at Christ Church in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, later performing with the Bell Choir at 7th Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. A active member of the West Point Alumni Association. Married 58 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kling in 2002; a son, John in 1999. Lou J. A Houston Inn, restaraunt on Ohio 42 owner and community leader. A Korea veteran, A Army Master Sergeant, served in the military multiple terms of duty in World War II. He was appointed to city council March 26, 1973, to fill an unexpired term, he was re-elected five times. Lived in Mason for more than 30 years. He was the first lifetime member of the Mason Landen Kings Chamber of Commerce and is one of only four lifetime Mason Kiwanians. Services were held Tuesday at Christ's Church in Mason, A Kiwanis service followed. Funeral on Wednesday at the church. Marion worked for 38 years at NCR, a Fortune 500 corporation. He started as a draftsman, progressed to Manager of the NCR plant in Pueblo, Mexico, and retired as the Staff Assistant to the Vice President of Manufacturing. A former member of the Board of Directors of the Mexico International Organization, member of the Manufacturing Engineering Society, member of the Tool and Manufacturing Engineering Society. He attended the University of Dayton, Sinclair College, and numerous NCR special training courses. A Past Commander of American Legion Post #5 in Dayton, member of American Legion Post #180 in Georgeotwn, Ohio, member of of the 40 and 8, member of the Russellville Masonic Lodge #166, member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary for 38 years in which he held the rank as Captain, member of the Lake Waynoka Board of Trustees, member of the Lake Waynoka Advisory Board. He initiated and secured for Lake Waynoka the award for the Best Maintained Dam in Ohio in the lake award category. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Winchester, Ohio. Monson, East Peoria, at 11:30 yesterday morning. Born in Spencer, Mass., Nov. 7, 1883, he was the son of Lewis (Leonard) and Ida Mae Orvis Groff Bisco. He married Nellie M. Twiggs in St. Paul Neb. Dec. 17, 1904. She died here May 29, 1970. He had been a self-employed carpenter and later worked for Wahlfeld's for 16 years, retiring in 1956. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Gaba of Indio, Calif., Mrs. Gordon (Martha) Godar of Chillicothe, Ill, Mrs. Carl (Cora) Struebing of East Peoria, Ill, and Mrs. Everett (Elsie) Cook of Peoria, Ill; two sons, Lewis L of Creve Coure and Henry E. of Roanoke, Ill; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. One daughter, one son and two sisters preceded him in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at LeRoy Schmidt Memorial Chapel, East Peoria, the Rev. David Beavis officiating.
