She was born in Freeport on Aug. 27, 1924, the daughter of Louis S. and Lelia Martin Bailey. She attended Freeport schools. She was married to Earl S. Williams in Freeport on May 26, 1942. Mr. Williams died June 5, 1975. Mrs. Wescott was employed in fish and shoe factories from many years in the Freeport and Brunswick area. She enjoyed fishing and hunting. She was a member of Post 202, American Legion Auxillary. She is predeceased by a son, Stanley E. Williams who died in 1995. She is survived by three sons, Richard L. and wife, Christina Williams of Bath, David L. and wife, Toni Williams of Bowdoin, Kenneth P. Williams of Rockland; two daughters, Judith A. Dehann of Brunswick and Mrs. Robert (Barbara J.) Murphy of Ontario, Calif.; two brothers, Martin Bailey of Freeport and Norman Bailey of Farmingdale; two sisters, Velma Thurlow of Freeport and Hazel A. Stilkey of Brunswick; 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
