Annabel and her husband owned / operated the Wilmington Dairy Queen from 1949 until her retirement in 1979. Before moving to Wilmington 46 years ago, she worked at the U.S. Shoe Factory in Chillicothe. She worked for a short time after retiring for the Wilmington City Schools cafeteria. She graduated in 1932 from Allensville High School and was the oldest living member of the alumini club. She was a member of the Wilmington Kiwanis Club and was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club for a brief time after retiring. She was active in the Clinton County Senior Citizens and the former Multi-Purpose Center Senior Citizens. Services were held in Wilmington, Ohio.
