James Fleming about 1824 Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania Fleming Farm, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania James came to America in 1767 along with a sister and 4 brothers. Landed in Philadelphia. They came in the company of the Morton Family. It is said they spent time around Rising Sun, which is now in Maryland, and Chester Co., PA. James appeared as a "new taxpayer" in Huntingdon Co., PA, in 1771. He married Annie Morton. Annue's cousin, John Morton, was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. They had 10 children.
